Dear readers,
Last week I told you about the importance of having a selection of the
right kind of ads, and gave you an article with tips on writing your ads.
Now, what should you do with these ads?
The best place to put them is in ezines.
Some people believe that this is ineffective now because of the large
number of ezines available, and the poor content of many of these
ezines. However, you can still reap rewards from your ad if you choose the
right ezines and place your ad often enough.
First you should consider subscribing to a few ezines to check them out.
Try an ezine directory to find suitable ezines, here a few;

When you have subscribed to your ezines, check that they have content
and that they would be the right place to market your ad.
Some ezines put all their ads in a seperate mailing, this is often deleted
by the subscribers, so your ad is unlikely to be seen. Some ezines have
rows ad rows of ads, which makes your ad seem insignificant, however, if your
ad copy is good you may get noticed by a few.
Of course the best place to be is at the top of the ezine, or even in a spot
on your own. Some ezines offer this for a small fee. Some ezines offer a spot
for a much larger fee but they also have a much larger readership.
If you have cash to spare and really want your ad to be noticed you should
consider a spot in AdlandPro newsletter. It has a subscribership of over
25,000 and is well read. This newsletter is free to subscribe to and is
a good read as well, so if you would like to check it out you can do so

Solo ads are a little bit hit and miss. Sometimes you can pick them up
pretty cheap, but they do get deleted before being read quite often.
If you don't have time to check out many ezines and submit your ad
then there are places which offer to do this for you.
For a small fee you can submit your ad once and they will submit it to
several ezines for you. Often it means that you will be automatically
subscribed to these ezines, so it is worthwhile setting up a new e-mail
address for this. You may even enjoy the ezines you are subscribed to
and wish to stay with them. If you do not stay subscribed until after
your ad is shown then the ezine editor has the right not to show your
ad and your money will be wasted.

Another place to put your ads is in paid e-mails. Many people on the internet
at some time or another take part in a get paid to read e-mail program.
They sign up for free and then get paid a small amount of money to read
e-mails that are sent to them. Sometimes they only have to read the e-mail,
but mostly they have to click the link and visit the website advertised as well.To advertise you will need to pay, but prices vary. First you should check out
how the company works. If you want to make use of your ad you will probably
need to pay extra for a solo ad (otherwise you will probably only get a link
in an e-mail, possibly alongside many other links.) Check that the readers have
to click through to your website and stay there for a certain amount of time to
get paid. This way you know that your ad and your site will be seen.
You will probably get better results from a company that pays its readers
well, but most people who join these programs don't mind clicking for just
1/4 cent.
There are also many places where you can put your oneliner ads, but we'll
discuss these in later issues. In the meantime, please enjoy this weeks

You see them all over the web, free classified ad sites.
Wow, imagine all the leads and traffic you can get if you
hit all the free classifieds. Once you start posting you
start dreaming of all the sales pouring into your inbox.
After you're done dreaming about all the sales, you start
thinking of all the ways you're going to spend that money.
Man alive, if it's this easy why isn't everybody cashing
in.
Then as time goes by you start noticing a pattern. Most of
the emails you receive are from visitors who've harvested
your email address and consider you an open target for
their offers.
You're spending more time hitting the delete button, than
you are conducting business.
There goes your new car or house payment.
Right about now you're ready to throw up your hands and
join the internet is a scam crowd.
Well before you pull your hair out, maybe it's time to
change your mind set. Stop thinking like a consumer and
start thinking like an entrepreneur.
Remember what side of the register you're on.
You can make money with classified ad sites, but not the
way you think.
The real way to make money, get free advertising and
get tons of banner impressions is to have your own site.
There are many programs out there for creating your own
site, some complicated and some completely turn key.
Do a little checking and you'll find exactly what you
need to put you on the road to success.
